At Summer Camp, students can expect rich Bible teaching, Christ-centered worship, encouraging small group times, bonfires, games, and lots of fun activities with friends throughout each day. With a lakefront, pool, high ropes course, and many other things, there will be no shortage of adventure to be had.

Our God Reigns
We are often troubled by what we see. If God is truly King of heaven and earth, why does the world seem so disordered? It can appear as though God has stepped back and left the world to itself. And so we ask: where is our ultimate hope, and how are we to live faithfully in the midst of a sinful and broken world?
The book of Daniel answers with a clear and steady word: Our God reigns. Though His rule is hidden from our eyes, it is never absent. Kings rise and fall at His command. Daniel and his friends lived as exiles under ungodly rulers, pressed on every side to abandon the Lord—yet they stood firm, not because circumstances were easy, but because God was faithful. God remained in control even when it didn’t seem like it.
This ancient truth is for us today as well. We do not place our trust in what we see, but in what God has spoken. His kingdom is not shaken, and His promises do not fail. Therefore, we are not controlled by fear, but in quiet confidence—trusting God above all by holding fast to His Word.
CAMP SHIRT
Camp Shirts are available for purchase at the time of registration. Each shirt is $25 and will be available for pickup at time of Check-in.

Students must complete the 2026 Consent & Medical Release form during registration (in addition to the Activity Waiver).
ACTIVITY WAIVER
All participants—students AND leaders—must fill out Country Lake Activity Waiver during registration.

WHAT TO PACK
The following is a list of all the things you should (or should NOT) have with you when you leave for camp:
- Bedroll:
- Sleeping bag OR sheets (twin)
- Pillow
- *Please pack lightly. We must all fit our belongings underneath the bus for travel.
- Suitcase/duffel bag containing:
- Toiletries
- Towels (1-2 for beach and bath)
- Modest swimsuit
- Clothing for 5 days
- 2 pairs of shoes
- Sweatshirt or jacket
- Rain gear (poncho)
- A cheap watch
- Sunscreen
- Insect repellent
- Flashlight
- Plastic bag for wet/dirty clothing
- Optional: camera, rainy day cabin games/activities
- Backpack containing:
- Bible
- Pen
- Snacks
- Money for lunch on Friday (OR a packed lunch)
- Dress code guidelines:
- Everyone: no exposed undergarments or see-through clothing
- Phones/Electronics:
- Phones/electronics may be used during the bus rides there and back, but must be given to a leader during the week of camp.
ROOMING ASSIGNMENTS
You will be given your rooming assignment when you check in. We are doing our best to accommodate all rooming requests, but cannot guarantee you will be with exactly who you want. We promise this is not the end of the world. New friends are one of the best parts of camp!

The Country Lake Christian Retreat Center daytime phone number is (812) 294-4789. Communication between campers and parents is not allowed during a camp week except in the case of an emergency.
SENDING STUDENTS MAIL
If you would like to send your student mail, please pack pre-written letters in your students’ bag/luggage.
